World Environment Day 2019
On Saturday 14th September the club assisted Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council with some practical and technical support to present a coffee morning to promote World Environment Day.
With support from Assistant District Governor Adrian Faiers presented a stall to show the work of Rotary's 'Shelter Box' used for disaster relief worldwide.
This initiative was presented in conjunction with Rev. Louise Collins, one of the Anglican team ministers in Borehamwood, and featured local some local musical talent that included:
- Elstree Mozart Players
- U3A Strummers in the Wood
- James Stowell
- Paul Lomax
