CLUB PROJECTS
The Rotary Club of the Studios of Elstree and Borehamwood undertake many different projects, both locally and internationally. They are involved in such projects as yearly fund raising project as World Polio Day, Know your Blood Pressure Day.
The first Rotary KidsOut National Day Out took place 25 years ago on the 13th June 1990 for only a couple hundred children. Organised by Kingston Rotary Club and Littlewoods organisation as a trial day, it proved so successful that the next year it was spread across the UK. Today KidsOut partners with Rotary to take more than 25,000 disadvantaged children on our National Day Out each year and thousands more through Fun Days. Through these initiatives KidsOut has taken hundreds of thousands of children on a fun day and provided thousands more with a Toy Box.
